Marketing visibility sample task

Sample Marketing Desk task

Build a low-friction expert-content rhythm

Why this task

The expertise already exists inside customer questions, delivery conversations and professional judgement. The problem is that publishing depends on spare time, inspiration or too many decisions.

The result you are creating

One reusable content template, three evidence-led topics, clear ownership and four realistic publishing dates that can be sustained without turning the business into a content factory.

45 minutes to establish, then one short working block on each chosen dayDo or delegate

Who should do it

You should supply the judgement, examples and final approval. A colleague can capture source material, prepare drafts and maintain the publishing schedule.

How to do it

  1. Collect ten real questions or objections from recent sales, client, support and delivery conversations. Remove names and confidential details.
  2. Choose one low-friction format you are realistically willing to use for the next month.
  3. Create a five-part template: the customer question, a direct answer, proof or example, practical guidance and a relevant next step.
  4. Use the source questions to choose three topics that matter to customers and are commercially relevant to the business.
  5. For each topic, name the evidence, example or experience needed to make the piece credible.
  6. Assign an owner and a realistic publishing date to each of the three topics.
  7. After two weeks, review what was actually produced and remove any step that adds ceremony rather than value.

Watch-outs

  • Do not choose a publishing frequency because an algorithm or commentator says you should.
  • Do not invent customer stories, results or proof to make a piece sound stronger.
  • Do not publish private client information without the right permission.
  • Do not create a template so elaborate that the team avoids using it.

Completion definition

The task is complete when you have one reusable template, three approved topics, the evidence needed for each, named owners and four realistic publishing dates.
