By continuing to use the Website you acknowledge that such Content is protected by copyright, trademarks, database rights and other intellectual property rights. Nothing on this site shall be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any licence or right to use any trademark, logo or service mark displayed on the site without the owner’s prior written permission.
- You may, for your own personal, non-commercial use only, do the following:
- retrieve, display and view the Content on a computer screen.
- You must not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy, distribute or use for commercial purposes any Content without the written permission of Expert Circle LTD.

You may not upload to, distribute or otherwise publish through the Website any Content that (i) is confidential, proprietary, false, fraudulent, libellous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, infringing on intellectual property rights, abusive, illegal or otherwise objectionable; (ii) may constitute or encourage a criminal offence, violate the rights of any party or otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law; or (iii) may contain software viruses, political campaigning, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of spam.
- You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all the rights to the Content you post; that the Content is accurate; that use of the Content you supply does not violate any provision of these terms and conditions and will not cause injury to any person; and that you will indemnify Expert Circle LTD for all claims resulting from Content you supply.
Prohibited use
- You may not use the Website for any of the following purposes:
- in any way which causes, or may cause, damage to the Website or interferes with any other person’s use or enjoyment of the Website;
- in any way which is harmful, unlawful, illegal, abusive, harassing, threatening or otherwise objectionable or in breach of any applicable law, regulation or governmental order;
- making, transmitting or storing electronic copies of Content protected by copyright without the permission of the owner;
- scraping, harvesting or otherwise extracting data from the Website without our prior written consent.
Programme
The following terms apply where you purchase access to, or participate in, any programme offered by Expert Circle LTD (the “Programme”).
- By purchasing access to the Programme you agree to these terms and conditions in full.
- Access to the Programme is personal to you and may not be transferred or shared with any third party without our prior written consent.
- We reserve the right to amend, update or adjust the Programme content, schedule, speakers or format at any time. Where material changes are made we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable.
- We reserve the right to remove any participant from the Programme at our sole discretion where their conduct is disruptive, offensive or in material breach of these terms. Where removal occurs due to the participant’s own conduct, no refund will be issued. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.
- Programme materials, recordings and resources provided to participants remain the intellectual property of Expert Circle LTD. Participants may use such materials for their own personal or professional development but may not distribute, resell or reproduce them without our prior written consent.
- Participation in the Programme does not guarantee any particular outcome, result or return on investment. All case studies, examples and testimonials are illustrative only.
- Expert Circle LTD is not responsible for the views, opinions or advice expressed by any guest speakers, facilitators or third-party contributors within the Programme.
Executive Briefings
The following terms apply where you access, attend or commission an Executive Briefing offered by Expert Circle LTD (a “Briefing”).
- Briefings are designed for business professionals and are offered on a strictly commercial basis. By registering or purchasing a Briefing you agree to these terms.
- Access to a Briefing is personal to the registered attendee or named representative. Substitutions must be notified to us in writing at least 48 hours in advance at contact@expertcircle.co.uk.
- Briefing content, including any materials, slides, recordings or summaries provided, remains the intellectual property of Expert Circle LTD. Attendees may use such materials internally within their own organisation but may not publish, share externally or redistribute without our prior written consent.
- Expert Circle LTD reserves the right to alter the format, speakers, date, time or delivery method of a Briefing. Where a Briefing is postponed or cancelled by Expert Circle LTD, attendees will be offered an equivalent alternative or, at our discretion, a credit against a future Briefing.
- Expert Circle LTD is not responsible for any views, opinions or recommendations expressed by speakers, panellists or contributors at a Briefing. Attendees should undertake their own independent assessment before acting on any information provided.
- Any confidential information shared by attendees during a Briefing (for example, during discussion or Q&A) is shared at the attendee’s own risk. Expert Circle LTD will use reasonable endeavours to maintain confidentiality but cannot guarantee the conduct of other participants.
- Recording of Briefings by attendees is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.
Payments and refund policy
Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy. Nothing below removes or limits any right you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable legislation.
- All fees for Programmes, Briefings or other paid services offered by Expert Circle LTD are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- Payment is required in full at the time of purchase unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
- Statutory rights. Where a service is not delivered with reasonable care and skill, or does not match what was described at the point of sale, you may be entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including repeat performance or a price reduction. Nothing in this policy removes or limits those rights.
- Cooling-off period for online purchases (Programmes). Where you purchase a Programme online and the service does not begin on a specific pre-scheduled date, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, provided the Programme has not yet commenced. If you request that the Programme begins within the 14-day cooling-off period, you acknowledge that your right to cancel will be extinguished once the service has been fully performed, and you will be liable for a proportionate payment for any services delivered up to cancellation.
- Fixed-date events — Briefings and scheduled events. Executive Briefings and other services booked for a specific date or dates are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 as services linked to a specific date. Once payment has been made for a fixed-date Briefing or event, no refund will be issued for non-attendance or cancellation by the attendee, except where your statutory rights apply.
- Change of mind — general. Outside of your statutory rights and any applicable cooling-off period, all sales are final. We do not issue refunds, credits or transfers for non-attendance, change of circumstances, or dissatisfaction with content where the service has been delivered substantially as described.
- Cancellation by Expert Circle LTD. Where Expert Circle LTD cancels or is unable to deliver a Programme or Briefing, you will be offered an equivalent alternative date or session. If no suitable alternative is available, a full refund of the amount you paid will be issued within 14 days. This is in addition to any rights you may have under applicable law.
- Chargebacks and payment disputes. We ask that you contact us at contact@expertcircle.co.uk before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute, to allow us the opportunity to resolve the matter. Where a chargeback is raised without prior contact and is not upheld, Expert Circle LTD reserves the right to recover the disputed amount together with any associated bank or processing charges.
- Where you have purchased via a third-party platform or event provider, the refund terms of that platform may apply instead of these terms. Please check at the point of purchase.
